And yet another successful party here at the Catholic Student Center! With expectations so high following a great Halloween Party, the Student Leadership Team knew that we needed to step it up yet again. I would say challenge was completed. We had over 75 people show up, dressed in their Sunday best, in the Christmas spirit, for a fantastic and fun-filled evening. The evening started off with one of our student's dad, Jody Detten, setting up a photo shoot that was Christmas themed. He was needing the practice for upcoming shoots and what better way than with a big group of college kids. These pictures can be found in our photo albums under Christmas Party. Of course you couldn't have a Christmas Party without food right? Well luckily we have two wonderful ladies, Donna Kemp and Jodi Meyer, that cooked for us all afternoon and prepare a feast! After a hearty meal, we kicked off our annual white elephant gift exchange and with 67 people participating, we were bound for some great memories. Gifts ranging from 80s themed pjs, to a piggy bank filled with coins, to coloring books, there were gifts of all kinds. And of course nobody can leave out a late night trip to Whataburger after a couple hours of intense gift exchanging. What a night! Now we are finishing up with finals and starting to head home for an extensive Christmas break as we don't have to be back until January 20th. Wishing everyone safe travels over the holidays and a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
