This time of the year means not only the start to a new year, but also the start of a very busy school semester ahead for everyone involved at the Catholic Student Center. For starters, we hope that everyone had a very Merry Christmas and a fantastic New Year! We are all looking forward to the start of a new year and many good things.

Before we even start school though, our first trip of the year is coming up this weekend! January 16th-19th there is a group of 25 students and Father Daniel heading to Red River, NM for our annual ski trip! We have several students taking this opportunity to learn and ski for the first time while some students are just going for the weekend to get away and the chance to hang out in Red River. While we are gone, students will be starting to move into their dorms again getting ready for the semester which starts on Tuesday, January 20th.
*Just a reminder, there will be no mass this Sunday, January 18th.

The next big event on the calendar is, of course, the annual Catholic Student Center Dinner, Auction, and Dance Fundraiser! This year, the event is on Saturday, February 7th starting at 6:30P.M. and the party won't shut down until midnight! As of now, we are officially sold out, but if you are still wanting a ticket you can call Betty at the CSC at 806-655-4345 to get your name on a waiting list just in case some people don't need their tickets anymore. No guarantees, but at least there is still a chance. If you aren't able to make the auction, you can still support us by purchasing some raffle tickets for $10 each. The main prize this year is a $2,500 Mastercard gift card! Second place prize is a $1,000 Mastercard gift card and third place prize is a $500 Mastercard gift card! Students will be visiting most parishes to sell raffle tickets over the next few weekends. We are also taking donations for baskets for our silent auction still, so if you have a variety of things that can create a basket that you would like to donate, please run it by the CSC or call the CSC and we can come pick it up!

As a student here at WT, I greatly appreciate everything that we have here at the CSC and all the many opportunities we have to increase our knowledge in our faith as well as our relationship with God. Most of this could not have been done without your support in making this building and organization a home away from home for each of us. Thank you!
