On Friday, April 26th at the Honors Banquet for West Texas A&M the Catholic Student Center was awarded the very highly regarded Organization of the Year award! This is the second year in a row that we have been a finalist, and the first time ever that we have won! Each organization on campus is evaluated and scored based upon community, state, and national involvement as well as how we meet the students and campus' needs throughout the year. By participating in all on campus activities (as well as cooking for all of them with Smokey Joe), adding our new internship that has gained us national recognition, and providing a place for students to have as literally their home away from home, we were able to win by a land slide. We believe that this award proves to not only all of us, but everyone else in the area that we are doing some great things here at the CSC. We are completely humbled by this great award, and we are counting all of our blessings that have been bestowed upon us this year. It really has been a year for the record books here at the CSC. We can't wait to see what God has in store for us in the future, and we thank each and every one of you for your love, prayers, and support over the years, and especially this past year. We can only keep getting better from here!!! We are so proud and blessed to be the 2013 West Texas A&M Organization of the Year!
