The school year kicked off busier than ever with alot of activities going on, both on campus as well as here at the Catholic Student Center! The Student Leadership Team got all the freshmen moved in, helped make our presence known around campus, and even ran a sand volleyball tournament during a very busy move in week! Opening mass was more full than ever with just over 200 students filling the seats. Later in the week, we had another full mass for Wednesday with 120 students filling the chapel seats, and then chowing down on some wonderful pulled pork that was cooked by the St. Ann's Knights of Columbus. On Friday, we had our annual Freshmen Fish Fry that was a great hit with 30 freshmen showing up to participate in a fun night of food, games, and fellowship.
We have another busy week this week as we take on the second week of school. We kick off our small groups this Tuesday night at 6:30 here at the CSC, resume our normal Wednesday Night activities, as well as starting Battle of the Sexes this Thursday at 6 followed by watching our very own WT Buffs football team kick off the season on an 80" TV that is in the back! If you have some free time during any of those events, then come join us for a great time!
